I live in Auburn CA. Last October it was necessary to place my mother’s home for sell, mom lives in the Tujunga area. Due to the distance involved (400 miles) I was very concerned as to how all the necessary procedures/details would be taken care of. My mother is 91 years old and could only participate on a limited level. While at mom’s one day, I came across a phone pad with Ann McLaughlin’s name and the realtor she was working with printed on the phone pad. Recognizing her name, I called her to schedule an appointment for an appraisal of mom’s home (Our children grew up together several years ago and I have not seen her in many years). An appointment was scheduled. We met and after spending several hours talking over the past and now into our new lives and the issue at hand, we came together on a selling price and moved forward.
Just a few expletives to express the character of Ann …..
A common expression used today is “Customer Service”, Ann is an outstanding example of this phrase. I was well informed at all times, she facilitated all paper work in a timely manner and went well beyond necessary in taking care of all the details involved.
I would highly recommend Ms. McLaughlin for the sale of your home or if you need information on current regulations that often apply with the sale of property.

My wife and I bought our first home six years ago in La Canadawith Ann McLaughlin as our realtor. Simply put Ann was just wonderful as the sale of the house closed without a hitch. That was the easy part, the house located in a very desirable area of La Canada was a fixer, the house had been neglected for many years. The problems with the house were all cosmetic and after a complete and thorough home inspection, we started work. After escrow had closed and the home repairs were well under way, Ann would at times stop by and see how things were progressing, her visits were always welcome. My family was able to move in just three month after we had bought the house. With the upturn in home prices in the last six years, coupled with some "sweat equity", the same house is easily worth 2 1/2 it's original purchase price. Our home is not for sale as we plan on living in this wonderful community for many years to come.
